The Rainforest Cafe` at Grapevine Mills Mall!!

This place is one of a kind. So much to see, so much to do...and as always, the juice is fresh squeezed.



If you are ready...all aboard!! Time to see the sights! And, as always...keep your arms inside the train.



To your left we see where you are greeted by the elephant operators who will put your name on the extr-e-e-mely long wait to sit down and eat. Trust me...takes forever.



As long as we have some time to kill, if you'll look to the right you'll see one of the many giant fruit displays with their merchandise in front. Haven't seen this much fruit since my weekend in Cedar Springs.



Ooh! If you look straight up you'll see the giant boa constrictor which moves all around! But relax...it's completely manmade...I think...actually, let's just keep moving.



If you'll look down below you'll see the vicious crocodile! Fortunately for us he's resting...or sleeping with his eyes open...ah well...what's the worst that can happen, right?



Oh no!! He's awake! And he's hungry!! Good thing for us he only eats nickels...and pennies...and the occasional slug or washer...but that's only when I'm tapped.



Now that the crocodile scare is over, let's look out the window to the dining room entrance. Lots of fish and...other things...swim around in the giant aquarium. Pretty creative if you ask me.



Let's check out the menu here...okay, I know it's hard to read but the giant frog looking down on us almost makes up for it, right? Okay, didn't think so.



The giant mushroom will provide us with cover in case it rains...you know, if it ever rained inside a mall. And it could...you never know.



If everyone is ready, please take your purchases to the counter, where you can also see another huge aquarium. I'm sure someone had the brainstorm that if you see fish swimming around then you'd want to spend more money. So wise...so wise...


Okay, time to set sail out of here. Everyone wave bye-bye to the giant frog-host!! He sure seems happy. I guess if I could stand on one leg for hours on end I'd be pretty happy too!
